ICE SKATING INSIDE???
Yep, the Guppies found a way to bring the ice inside! With the help of Ms. Terrie and using paper plates as skates, the Guppies whisked up and down the hallways of Emerson. I tried to stay out of the way of those speed demons! By the way...excuse the dorky laugh of the camera woman!! Enjoy! -- Duke
Celebrating Chinese New Year
Today, the Turtles celebrated the Chinese New Year! Learning to use chop sticks was a challenge, but making tea leaf paint was a hit! Also on the agenda today is sampling Chinese style foods during snack-time, learning about Chinese lifestyles from Ms. JoAnne, who lived in China for six months, and reading lots of stories about Dragon Dances and many other Chinese traditions. Young Chefs!
Community Helper week in the Guppy Class has brought so many wonderful experiences. Monday, the kids learned about Bakers and Chefs. Today, doctors and nurses were the topic and tomorrow holds Veterinarians!!! Yikes...I like the cookie baking MUCH better...hope I don't get a shot!! They plan on learning about firefighters and police officers on Thursday and Friday. These kids are so LUCKY...except for that whole vet thing! Peace and Love -- Ocho
